VetChip is a West Australian biotechnology company redefining animal health and welfare through pioneering technology, proactive health monitoring systems, data analytics and disease detection. VetChip was created to detect abnormal health parameters in animals who cannot tell us when they are unwell.
Animal advocate Dr Garnett Hall, a veterinarian who saw first hand the frustration vets experienced every day, became inspired by the concept of human smart technologies like Fitbit and how its integration into animal health could potentially redefine how animals are treated and looked after.
