The UWA Innovation Quarter aimed to foster enterprise, industry engagement and entrepreneurship for University of Western Australia's researchers, students and staff. UWA IQ was one part of a dynamic UWA innovation ecosystem.
UWA IQ also aimed to facilitate industry engagement to enhance education and research impact, activate new physical and digital spaces where networking and collaboration can take place, and deliver a range of new initiatives to stimulate innovation.
UWA IQ, along with Business Foundations, created a co-working and event space named IQX at the Masonic Hall adjacent to the UWA campus. It has since closed its doors on 31 December 2020.
