Tees Valley Lithium is aiming to develop Europe’s first independent lithium chemical processing hub, importing high value feedstock from around the world and supplying battery grade lithium hydroxide to Europe.
Based in UK, Tees Valley Lithium (TVL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LSE-listed Alkemy Capital Investments. In August 2022, Alkemy announced plans to build a lithium sulphate plant at Port Hedland, Australia's largest export port in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, to feed TVL's proposed lithium hydroxide plant at the Wilton International Chemicals Park in Teesside, UK.
