The SX5 Group is a diversified contractor that is 51 per cent Aboriginal-owned. It is led by directors Kenzie Smith, of the Eastern Gurama, together with Ralph and Cherie Keller.
It has three operating businesses:
- Civil Road & Rail SX5 owns and maintains a fleet of earthmoving equipment for mining, road construction and railway work
- Portaccomm SX5 Building Systems designs, manufactures and installs high quality buildings
- Portacrete SX5 has a concrete batch plant set up in Pannawonica, where it has been based since 2010
