Moore River Company, is an entity controlled by the Plunkett family through a number of different companies. It owns a large coastal cattle grazing farm known as Moore River South which for the past two decades have sought to develop into residential lots.
The company listed the Moore Rive South property on the market in August 2015, which now has an approved development plan covering 452ha that allows for nearly 2,000 lots, as well as tourism and town centre opportunities.
