Monteray Mining Group acquired a total of 8 permits with an area of 1,178km2 in the highly prospective Birimian Greenstone belt in Burkina Faso, West Africa, through a series of strategic acquisitions during 2012. In December 2014, Monteray announced that it had entered into binding termsheet with the major shareholder and board of Norwood Systems Pty Ltd to acquire 100% of Norwood. This acquisition was successful, and in June 2015 the company became Norwood Systems Limited.
