Marindi Metals (formerly Brumby Resources) explores mineral resource properties in Australia. In mid-2015 Brumby acquired zinc explore Marindi Metals Pty Ltd and changed its name to Marindi Metals. The “new Marindi” has over 1000 square kilometres of tenure at the Newman Zinc Project in the Pilbara region of WA, which includes the Prairie Downs base metal deposit and the highly prospective Wolf prospect. Brumby primarily explored for iron ore and manganese deposits, as well as for base metals and gold deposits. Its principal properties included Blliant Well, Goldsworthy, Oakover, Pardoo, Telyagel, Woodie Woodie, and Yule projects, which are located in Western Australia; and McArthur River and Mt Hall projects located in Northern Territory. The company was formerly known as Sirius Resources Limited and changed its name to Brumby Resources Limited in October 2006.
