In March 2016 Leopard Resources changed the name and nature of its business following the acquisition of G8 Communications Holdings in a reverse takeover deal.
Leopard Resources NL engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties primarily in the Republic of South Africa and the United States. The company primarily explored for uranium, gold, and copper ores. It held interests in the Nacimiento Copper Uranium project comprising three blocks of lode mining claims located in north-central New Mexico; and the Mangalisa Gold project in the Free State Goldfields in the Republic of South Africa. The company was formerly known as Acclaim Exploration NL and changed its name to Leopard Resources NL in December 2011.
