Laundromap claims to be “Uber for laundry”. Drivers pick up and drop off laundry from households who select services through an app.
It was launched in Auckland, NZ, and was due to be rolled out in Perth in 2017. Most of the board are Perth-based, including chairman Adam Plowman. It is based on software developed in the UK, Laundrapp, of which the company holds an exclusive user licence for Australia. In Perth, Laundromap has partnered with Atlas Dry Cleaners in Claisebrook.
