Irongate Fullblood Wagyu Stud is a farming operation near Albany in the Great Southern owned by the Gilmour family, including former America's Cup skipper Peter Gilmour. The stud runs a 2,700-head wagyu herd and has a strong focus on data collection for its genetics and breeding programs.
Irongate's own range of beef is Futari Wagyu, an ultra-premium wagyu product sold to domestic and global customers.
