Gridiron West is a non-profit affiliated with the Western Australian Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries and Gridiron Australia. The organisation's mission is to deliver an exceptional American football experience in WA.
Gridiron in Perth began in 1988 with a recruitment drive that paved the path for the Western Australian Gridiron Football League (WAGFL).
In 1994, Gridiron West emerged as an independent league, breaking away from the WA Gridiron Football League.
