Greenhouse restaurant was opened by chef Matt Stone, restaurateur Paul Aron, and environmentalist & artist Joost Bakker in December 2009. It was later sold to Red Rock Leisure in partnership with chef Chris Taylor in 2012.

Greenhouse restaurant closed its doors in May 2017.
