Global Rapid Rugby was an alternative rugby competition founded after Andrew Forrest took over ownership of the Western Force. GRR was owned and supported within the Minderoo Group. GRR ceased operations due to Covid-19 in 2020, when the Western Force rejoined Australian Super Rugby.
