GE operates a range of businesses in Australia, across industries such as consumer finance (GE Money), healthcare, transportation, aviation, oil and gas, water, lighting, and electrical distribution. GE employs over 4,000 people across Australia and New Zealand.
Active in Australia since the world’s first LNG train was installed on the North West Shelf in the mid-1980s, GE Oil & Gas has continued investing in the region and recently established a regional hub in Perth, Western Australia as a centre of industry expertise from where we serve our customers across the region. GE Oil & Gas employs nearly 600 people in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Sydney.
GE also operates a technology and learning complex at Jandakot. The Jandakot regional service hub provides support services for their Drilling & Production, Turbomachinery Solutions, and Subsea Systems businesses with local FEED resources and dedicated engineering operations and workshop teams.
