Eurofins Environment Testing acquired ARL Group in late 2020. ARL Group consisted of Analytical Reference Laboratory and Pro Micro. Both businesses were founded in 1987, with Pro Micro opening a second office, in Bali, in 2004. The two companies merged operations in 2016, following majority acquisition by Banksia Capital. ARL performs testing of soil, water, and waste for pesticides and other chemical contaminants. Pro Micro provides services in biological testing of food, water, air, and oil, as well as hygiene training.
Following its acquisition by Eurofins, it was announced that the ARL Laboratory Company and EcoDiagnostics operation will hereinafter be trading as “Eurofins | ARL”, and the ProMicro Company will hereinafter be trading as “Eurofins | ProMicro”.
