The Department of Education Services provides a number of services across the areas of school education, teacher registration, vocational education and training, higher education and international education. From 1 July 2017, the new Department of Education was formed to bring together the operations of the Department of Education Services, Department of Education and the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.
