Indigenous Businesses

Established by Daniel Tucker in 1995, Carey Group is a 100% indigenous-owned business in Australia delivering specialist services to the mining and civil industries.

Carey’s original contracts were located in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia, but now extend to the Pilbara Region and the Northern Territory. Carey was established at a time when indigenous businesses and Indigenous entrepreneurs were a scarcity. It is now aiming to establish itself as a Tier 1 First Nation business focused on Aboriginal-to-Aboriginal procurement, Traditional Owner business capacity partnerships, employment and training.

Carey's group of businesses include:
- Carey Training
- Carey Biyulu, a Pilbara Aboriginal business offering civil, mining and training services
- CareyMC, providing project management services and complete infrastructure solutions for government and private sector construction contracts
- CAdd Building and Maintenance, an Indigenous-owned company formed through a partnership between Carey and Add Building Group, delivering projects in metropolitan and remote areas of Australia
