CSBP Fertilisers

CSBP has been manufacturing fertiliser in Western Australia since 1910, initially under the name Cuming and Smith Company. The CSBP brand was established in 1963, and Wesfarmers acquired a stake in the business in 1979. It was the largest corporate takeover in Australian history at the time. Wesfarmers bought out BP's stake in 1986 to gain full ownership of CSBP. 

The company manufactures a range of fertiliser products, primarily for agricultural use, and sodium cyanide for Western Australia's gold industry.
