Blue Mile Brewery

Instead of going for a traditional gas fueled brewing system, we decided to source a system that we believed would be more environmentally sustainable. As such we managed to source an electric brewing system, which heats up any food based oil (such as canola or vegetable), which in turn is used to heat up the hot water tank and brewing kettle by an extremely efficient heating jacket system.

To help offset the electricity usage of this system, our production facility is fitted with a 60Kw solar panel bank, with plans to introduce other technologies to improve our sustainability into the future.

Whilst currently our production facility is situated 10 minutes outside of Busselton, our desire is to eventually create a world class, family friendly venue closer to town.
