Founded in 1991, Black Swan has earned both critical and popular acclaim for its world premiere productions and highly distinctive reinterpretations of international theatre classics. In addition to the work produced for the stage, Black Swan invests in artistic development and broadening access and engagement across Western Australia.
Black Swan's future strategic intent is to continue to develop new work, lead the sector through education, artistic and career development, and empower the company to be daring and ambitious.
