In November 2016 Nyota Minerals announced plans to acquire BigDish Ventures in a reverse takeover deal. Bigdish is a Philippines-based company that owns and operates a yield management system for the restaurant sector that
enables restaurants to offer varying discounts at different times of day with the objective of increasing the
number of diners during off-peak times.
Bigdish has existing smartphone applications and owns its own proprietary software developed by its inhouse
development team.
