The former Association Bicycling Western Australia wanted bike riding to be a part of everyday life and their task was working to make it easier, safer and more accessible for all Western Australians. However in June 2019 the members of Bicycling Western Australia voted to merge with WestCycle, the peak body for cycling throughout Western Australia. The merger was completed on 1st July 2019.
