Bankwest Foundation

The Bankwest Foundation was established in 2013 with a mission to improve the well-being of Australians by enabling the implementation of significant and meaningful community initiatives in Western Australia and nationally.

Bankwest has pledged $1,000,000 to the Bankwest Foundation each year for five years, to be distributed across the following four areas of focus:

Supporting grassroots community initiatives - We’re proud to support charities, as chosen by Bankwest colleagues, that provide programs or services which genuinely impact our community for the better.

Growing community sector capability and capacity - We support the growth of senior leadership capability within the WA Community Sector by providing 60 WA based scholarships a year.

Supporting research and reform of the community sector in WA - Our aim is to deliver initiatives that support growth and innovation in the sector, as well as build community resilience in times of natural disaster.

Promoting volunteering and civic leadership - We promote, encourage and recognise volunteering and civic leadership within the WA community sector.
