Auctus Minerals is an entrepreneurial resource development company, funded by one of the world's largest private equity firms - Denham Capital. Auctus is Denham's second Australia-focused mining venture with a mandate to invest in operational, or development-ready, Australian natural resource assets (outside of coal).
Auctus is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Auctus Chillagoe Holdings, which was incorporated in March 2015 for the purpose of holding all of the issued capital in Auctus.
In December 2015, Auctus Minerals (via one of its subsidiaries) acquired ASX-listed Atherton Resources and subsequently delisted the company and renamed it Auctus Resources.
