Angela Wright Bennett Foundation is understood to be the philanthropic entity for the family of Angela Bennett, the daughter of Peter Wright, business partner of Lang Hancock. Mr Hancock and Mr Wright worked together on the discovery and early development of the first large scale iron ore deposits in the Pilbara. The foundation is a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF) which are required to distribute at least 5% of net assets each year in support of charitable causes. Little is known at this stage regarding the scale of the foundation's assets or annual giving.
