Altrad Services is part of the Altrad Group, a leader in the provision of industrial services. It is headquartered in France with 42,000 employees across more than 50 countries. Altrad Services has become one of the largest contractors in Western Australia after the giant, privately-owned French group merged and rebranded its Cape Australia and Hertel businesses.

In December 2022, Altrad acquired WA-based fabrication, construction, and maintenance services entity AusGroup Companies including AGC Industries, MAS Australasia and related subsidiaries.
