The company formerly known as Acuvax changed its name to Activistic in May 2015. Acuvax engaged in the research and development of cancer therapies, and virus and vaccine development in Australia and North America. The company focused in the areas of immunology, or disease prevention. Its products primarily included Encore, a line of over-the-counter medical nutritional supplements. In early 2015 the Company received ASX approval to change its status from a Bio-Tech Company to an Information Technology Company with its proposed acquisition of Activistic Pty Ltd.
