The head of Australia’s Navy, who will soon lead Australia’s defence force more broadly, says access to global sea lanes has become an existential crisis for the nation.
Vicinity Centres is partway through a major overhaul of Morley Galleria, after years of delays to the $240 million project.
The ASX-listed shopping centre giant made the call to start the expansion of the property last year, after shelving the project in 2019.
It marks the first time the centre has had a complete upgrade since it first opened in 1994.
Multiplex has about 300 workers on site, who are gutting the interior to install 7,000 square metres of tiling, new escalators, electrical systems and planter boxes.
