The Global Resources Innovation Expo (GRX26) is a leading industry-led conference and exhibition bringing together the global mining and Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) community. Taking place 5–7 May 2026 at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, GRX26 will welcome more than 2,000 industry leaders, 150+ exhibitors and international delegations to explore the technologies, partnerships and ideas driving the future of resources.
GRX26 is delivered by two leading industry associations — Austmine, representing the global METS sector, and AusIMM, the professional body for people working across the resources industry. Together they connect miners, innovators, researchers and global partners in a collaborative environment designed to accelerate innovation and strengthen the mining ecosystem.
Paul Needham left a career powering villages across India to lead a company that captures CO₂ from the air using mine tailings, and he's piloting the technology in Western Australia.
Under the theme Competing Globally in the Critical Era, GRX26 will convene industry leaders in Perth to explore the technologies, partnerships and strategies driving global competitiveness in the resources sector.
