Chief Executive, Strike Energy
Shelley Robertson is a respected and influential leader in the Australian resource industry, with a 30+ year career spanning oil and gas, mining, energy, infrastructure and renewables.
On 1st June Shelley will commence as CEO and MD of Strike Energy, a proudly Western Australian company building an integrated, low carbon energy business, with a focus on Perth Basin gas and supplying energy into the WA market.
Shelley’s most recent role was as Chief Operating Officer at Fortescue, where she was responsible for a large global portfolio across energy and mining.
Prior to joining Fortescue, Shelley was Executive General Manager – Energy at Mineral Resources, where she held executive oversight of all energy infrastructure, as well as building a significant onshore oil & gas exploration portfolio resulting in a significant onshore gas discovery known as Lockyer Deep. Shelley was subsequently instrumental in Mineral Resources completing an off-market takeover of JV partner Norwest Energy, where she was previously MD & CEO.
Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science, a postgraduate Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, an MBA (Oil and Gas), and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (with Order of Merit).
Shelley is on the Board of Ronald McDonald House WA and is a member of Chief Executive Women.
