Director Corporate Affairs and Business Development, Procon Developments Australia
Mia Davies is director of corporate affairs and business development at Procon Developments Australia, an integrated property development and construction company delivering projects in WA and on the east coast. She brings extensive experience across government, business, infrastructure and regional development to the role, working across the company’s residential and commercial development portfolio and the infrastructure required to enable those projects. This includes AvonWest Logistics and Enterprise Hub, a 62-hectare off-grid logistics and enterprise development in Northam which incorporates renewable energy and wastewater infrastructure to address traditional servicing constraints and support new industry and investment in the region.
Prior to joining Procon, Mia served for 17 years in the Western Australian Parliament, including as Leader of The Nationals WA, Leader of the Opposition and a Cabinet Minister.
Mia also works as a strategic communications and public affairs consultant and is spokesperson for the Domestic Gas Alliance, working with industry on policy and advocacy relating to Western Australia’s energy security and economic competitiveness.
Originally from Wyalkatchem in the Wheatbelt, Mia lives in Northam and remains actively involved in business and community organisations. Among other roles, she is a Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia Councillor, board member of the Northam Chamber of Commerce and Northam Race Club, and patron of the East Fremantle Football Club.
