General Manager Mining Area C, BHP
Lauren Burraston is the General Manager of Mining Area C, a position she has held since December 2023. She has extensive operational and leadership experience across BHP, spanning geology, mining production, maintenance execution and reliability.
She has held other leadership roles supporting BMA, BMC, NSWEC, and was previously Head of Maintenance Planning for Minerals Australia.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Geology from the Australian National University. She has an elite sporting background as an Australian representative rower and remains a passionate sports enthusiast.
