Success and Leadership breakfast with Martin Bennett

Martin Bennett is one of Australia’s most formidable defamation lawyers, known for his work on some of Western Australia’s most high-profile legal cases—including the Lloyd Rayney defamation suit against WA Police and Linda Reynolds v Brittany Higgins.

Admitted as a legal practitioner in December 1978, Mr Bennett has twice built his own successful legal practice. He founded the original Bennett & Co in 1989, which later merged with Phillips Fox to become Lavan Legal, where he served as general counsel before establishing the current Bennett firm.

Moderating this event will be Business News Managing Editor Sean Cowan, who brings his own unique perspective—having had his own legal encounters with Martin Bennett on two separate occasions.
