Subscriptions Sales Executive

As a Subscriptions Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in growing our subscriber community by introducing Western Australian business leaders to the insights and connections Business News provides. You’ll work with organisations across Western Australia, speaking with business owners, senior leaders and professionals, introducing them to the value of Business News and supporting them in getting the most from their subscription. Some days this means introducing new organisations to Business News, and other days it means working closely with existing subscribers to grow and strengthen the relationship. Working in a collaborative and supportive team environment, you’ll build relationships, identify opportunities, and help organisations gain access to the information and networks they need to succeed.

You’ll be supported with training, systems, and coaching to help you build a successful career in sales.

Your Role

  • Business Development: Identify and engage new potential subscribers through phone outreach, networking, and lead follow-up.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with subscribers and help them maximise the value of our platform.
  • Commercial Growth: Work toward subscription growth targets through a combination of new clients and expanding existing relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider subscriptions, marketing and editorial teams to share insights and support our growing community of subscribers.


What We Are Looking For

You don’t need years of sales experience to succeed here. We’re looking for people with the right attitude and communication skills.

Experience in sales, media, business, customer service or account management is helpful, but not essential.
