Stirling Resources has appointed Australian Zircon chief executive Marty Adams as the company's new managing director.
Stirling Resources has appointed Australian Zircon chief executive officer Marty Adams as the company's new managing director.
Mr Adams was appointed acting managing director last month when Michael Kiernan stepped down from Stirling.
In a statement Stirling said Mr Adams has over 30 years' experience in the Australian mining industry.
He was general manager of Normandy's Tennant Creek Operations for three years.
Mr Adams was also the project manager for Hillgrove Resources Limited's Kanmantoo Copper Project.

Adams as Managing Director.
Mr. Adams has thirty years' experience in the Australian mining industry. Holding a degree in Mining Engineering from Melbourne University and an MBA from Deakin University, he has held a range of operational and senior management positions in open pit and underground operations and has extensive experience in gold, copper, mineral sands, iron ore and lead/zinc projects. Mr. Adams' experience includes 17 years with Normandy Mining Limited, including three years as General Manager of Normandy's Tennant Creek Operations. He was recently the Project Manager for Hillgrove Resources Limited's Kanmantoo Copper Project, where he oversaw the successful completion of its feasibility studies and permitting activities.
He is currently also the Chief Executive Officer of Australian Zircon NL.
