Workplace Stress Seminar

On Thursday March 4 Jackson McDonald Barristers and Solicitors is holding a breakfast seminar titled Stop Stressing - Understanding the Psychological and Legal Issues for Employers in Managing Workplace Stress, in their boardroom at Level 4, 81 St Georges Terrace, Perth.

The seminar has been designed to provide employers with a multi-faceted insight into workplace stress. It will examine the causes and symptoms of stress and stress management methods, from a psychological stance before Occupational Health and Safety and insurance specialists explore the legal issues surrounding workplace stress and the obligations faced by employers in managing workplace stress.

Keynote speakers at the seminar include Clayton Brandis Corporate Psychology director Don Clayton, who will talk about workplace contributors to stress and three levels of managing stress; Jackson McDonald Barristers and Solicitors partner Maria Saraceni, who will talk about stress as a hazard, and human resource implications of workplace stress; and Jackson McDonald Barristers and Solicitors lead advocate Asanka Gunasekera, who will speak about what stress is compensable and practical tips in managing stress claims.
