ALINTA employees have helped drive a month-long fundraising program that has resulted in more than $188,000 for the Salvation Army’s tsunami aid relief work.
The gas utility offered to put in $5 for every $1 raised by employees.
Fundraising efforts ranged from morning teas to golf days to even one Alinta manager auctioning off his 30-year old moustache for shaving.
