Workers’ comp fix

AN ANOMALY which meant workers could have missed out on their chance to take a workers’ compensation matter to court has been remedied.

Previously, delays in processing a question regarding the degree of disability a worker had suffered could preclude the injured worker from electing which option he or she wanted to pursue.

Now injured workers have fourteen days after a question properly referred to the Workcover director is processed to make their election.
