Fine the workers then sack the lot of them. There are plenty of people just waiting for the opportunity to work in the lucrative gas industry. They should be happy they are on such high wages with great conditions. Take away their frequent flyer points and listen to them scream about that as well.

I'm sure that there are much larger issues / agenda's being served by this strike rather than just the 'motelling' issue. However I think that the striking workforce need to have a large spoonful of cement & harden up. The accommodation in Karratha is some of the best in the North West & the good wages plus various other penalties and conditions provided by the client more than make up for the perceived inconvenience of motelling.

Quite right Charles, Our boys and girls serving in the Forces are often in much worse conditions than these guys and receiving much less pay!! Do we hear them complain? No - they just get on with it and so should these "workers"

They run the gapridge camp like a prison, the shots on the news make it look like a resort. Far from it I say. The neighbours are a smelly rubbish tip and a shit farm, try putting up with all those flies every morning and afternoon. Motelling is just another way to inconvenience the workers, If you don't like it, leave. I'm glad I did.
