Woodside director resigns

Singapore-based Shell director Ian Robertson has taken a director's seat at Woodside Petroleum, following the resignation of Jakob Stausholm.

Mr Stausholm's resignation follows his decision to leave Shell to join a global facility service company.

Mr Robertson's appointment fills Woodside's board seat that has been reserved for a Shell-nominated director.

Mr Robertson is executive vice president for Shell's finance operations, and his 28-year career includes positions in the United Kingdom, Gabon and Malaysia.
