Woodside closes gas deal

North West Shelf Gas Pty Ltd has concluded a $200 million contract with AlintaGas for the ten year supply of product from 2002.

The contract involves the supply of 40 terajoules of gas a day, and is in addition to the existing gas volumes contracted to AlintaGas.

NWSG general manager Akos Gyarmathy said he was delighted to be the preferred

supplier to a client with more than 400,000 customers in WA.

The North West Shelf venture sellers are Woodside Energy Ltd, BP Developments Australia Pty Ltd, BHP Petroleum (NWS) Pty Ltd, Shell Development (Australia) Proprietary Limited and Chevron Asiatic Limited.
