Women at the Top: Fiona Wood

The American Chamber of Commerce is holding its latest breakfast in the Women at the Top series, with guest speaker Dr Fiona Wood, on June 17 at the Sheraton Hotel, Perth. Dr Wood, the 2005 Australian of the Year, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specialising in the field of major burn care, trauma and scar reconstruction. She is director of the WA Burns Service and a consultant plastic surgeon at Princess Margaret and Royal Perth Hospitals. Her research through The McComb Foundation and as director of C3 is focused on scarless healing. Dr Wood is also actively involved in burn education locally, nationally and internationally. The Women at the Top breakfasts feature high profile women speakers and are attended by both men and women. Tickets are $49 for chamber members and their guests and $59 for non-members.
