Board Esme Bowen – president Jeff Hollands – vice-president Doug McCaffery – secretary Terry Fagan – treasurer Wayne Robins – board member Colin Lees – board member Graham Edwards – board member The Wheelchair Sports WA Association (Inc.) is responsible for the management of all functions relating to wheelchair sport in Western Australia. The association’s members are made up of people whose lives have, in some way, been touched by physical disability or by any condition that impairs coordination and mobility. These include people who have been impaired due to spinal injury, amputation, Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida. Athletes compete in state, national and international competition in 10 sports. The association also runs events, training, and competitions for wheelchair sports members, to assist athletes be the best they can be. The association is represented in the National Wheelchair Basketball League and the National Wheelchair Rugby League. The association also co-ordinates recreational activities for those not so competitive minded. Wheelchair Sports WA always welcomes new volunteers to coach, officiate, or assist in any capacity you can.
