Clay Cook says Bonfire looks forward to working with Western Power.

Western Power has engaged digital marketing agency Bonfire to broaden the utility’s engagement with customers beyond the traditional means.

A Western Power spokesperson said it had traditionally sought to understand customers’ needs by talking to them in person, over the phone or through email and its website.

It plans to work with Bonfire to improve its understanding of customer communication needs and to keep them updated on energy options.

Bonfire said it was developing a comprehensive search engine marketing strategy to increase Western Power’s content reach and community engagement.

"The energy landscape is going through some remarkable changes, and we appreciate the importance of Western Power in this journey," Bonfire chief executive Clay Cook said.

"We look forward to working alongside this respected WA institution, to help them achieve their important organisational goals."

Bonfire added it would work with Western Power to help inform the public about their energy options as well as reaching more people with community safety messages.
