Western Australia Power and Gas 2005

The second annual Western Australia Power and Gas conference will be held from Wednesday April 27 to Friday April 29 at the Duxton Hotel. WA’s power and gas sector is going through extensive change at the moment, with reforms in the electricity and gas markets, new power stations planned and new liquid natural gas (LNG) export deals being signed. The conference will cover major issues facing WA’s energy sector. Conference speakers will include Electricity Reform Implementation Unit executive director Steve Edwell, the International Gas Union’s Programme Committee on LNG secretary Mohammed Taleb, Woodside Energy director of North West shelf ventures Jack Hamilton, BHP Billiton Pilbara LNG vice-president Neil Croker, Westgate Transport chief executive Roy Weaver, WA Sustainable Energy Association chair Matthew Rosser, Alinta Power Services general manager Jim Henessey, StateWest Power general manager Stephen Price, Wesfarmers Energy general manager (commercial) Tim Bult, and WA Department of Industry and Resources (Petroleum and Royalties Division) director Bill Tinapple.
