West’s incentive to stay quiet

THE Note has watched with interest – both professional and simply voyeuristic - over the years, as information about the remuneration of directors and executives has grown. In putting the fine tooth comb over West Australian Newspaper Holdings Ltd, we were astounded to see eight pages devoted to this subject – though little explanation for the Short Term Incentives, which appeared regularly. It’s somewhat larger neighbour at the top of the WA corporate tree, Wesfarmers, managed a bit more depth in explanation in its 12-page synopsis.
