Wesfarmers signs carbon offset deal

Subiaco-based Carbon Conscious has signed a contract with Wesfarmers Insurance to offset the company's 2010 corporate emissions.

Under the agreement Carbon Conscious will plant 26,000 Mallee eucalypt trees on marginal WA farmland to assist with rural environmental issues of salinity and soil erosion.
