Warren Mead has put the remainder of his Mead Hospitality group on the market, including restaurants, luxury boat and part-share of a Margaret River vineyard.
The assets, offered by Goodwin Mitchell O'Hehir & Associates, may be sold separately or as one holding. They include The Oyster Bar Mead's Mosman Bay, which will be sold through expressions of interest, The Oyster Bar Black Tom's in West Perth, at an asking price of $1.25 million, and The Oyster Bar on the Foreshore in South Perth, at an asking price of $2.6 million.
After more than 20 years, Mr Mead is understood to be quitting the hospitality industry.
Also up for sale is the MV Moonlight Express, an 85 foot luxury boat which caters for up to 110 people and is available for cocktail functions and events, at an asking price of $1.5 million.
Mr Mead's share in a strata-titled, share cropping vineyard in Margaret River, which produces Black Tom's labeled wine, is also on the market.
GMO's Murray Brown said he has already earmarked between 10 and 20 local and interstate purchasers for all or part of the group.
Late last year, Mr Mead sold the North Fremantle The Oyster Bar on The Beach to publicans Craig Hutchison and Patrick Prendiville, and his former general manager Anthony Posniak.
Mr Mead also abandoned plans to develop on Oyster Bar restaurant in the lobby of Exchange Plaza last year, selling the lease to Rob and Sam Franchina's SAR Group Pty Ltd.
Mr Mead recently expressed his dissatisfaction over the inconsistent delivery of his restaurant's food and service over the past two years.
