Warburton replaces Brayshaw at FMG

Fortescue Metals Group has appointed Sharon Warburton as a non-executive director, from November, following the retirement of Geoff Brayshaw (pictured), who joined the WA iron ore miner in 2007.

Ms Warburton is executive director of strategy at Brookfield Multiplex.

She has previously held senior finance roles at Citigroup and Rio Tinto.

Mr Brayshaw will retire from his directorship on Fortescue's board at the WA iron ore miner's annual general meeting in November.
