Walsh appointed RCR Tomlinson CFO

Former Clough chief financial officer Andrew Walsh has been appointed in the same role at engineering services company RCR Tomlinson.

Mr Walsh takes over from Garry Ramse who has been acting in the position of chief financial officer. Mr Ramse will return to his role as general manager corporate services.

RCR chief executive Paul Dagleish said Mr Walsh's appointment reflects the company's intentions to strengthen financial performance with a key focus to increase shareholder value.

"Andrew's considerable experience in large international companies provides a solid platform for supporting RCR's growth. The appointment reflects our focus on strengthening our financial management and governance which will deliver bottom line performance," Mr Dalgleish said.

Mr Walsh will commence on 25 January 2010.

Mr Walsh was chief financial officer at Clough for six years starting from 2003, and has held executive roles at BAE Systems and Alenia Marconi Systems.
